Unauthorized access to the areas is prohibited. Driving or entering the dockyard area always requires authorization, and access to the dockyard area is at one's own risk (sandblasting and painting activities take place in the area). Special permission is required for access to the project area. Visiting the project area requires a visitation permit; please contact your designated contact person. Working in the project area without project approval is prohibited. Advance notice of the delivery should be given to the shipyard personnel. Goods unloading locations within the shipyard area: At the project area, the logistics coordinator or their authorized personnel will provide instructions for the location. At the repair dock, under the supervision and guidance of the dockmaster/supervisor or their authorized personnel. You may use your own vehicle to transport goods and/or tools close to the destination and then remove the vehicle from the shipyard area afterward. The necessary access permissions must be requested/arranged before arriving at the area. The office houses the administrative personnel of the shipyard, a clothing storage area, orientation, training, and meeting rooms. The repair dock's office is situated at the end of the workshop hall, close to the shipyard basin. The offices of the dockmaster and supervisors are located there. The project area's office is situated in a barracks building at the center of the area. The adjacent barracks contain social facilities for the project area. According to the agreement, the recipient of information must treat it as confidential and must not disclose it to any third party. Project managers are in charge of communication related to projects. TSupervisors are responsible for internal communication related to work tasks. Millog Marine & Power ensures that it fulfills its obligations as required by the law. Within the shipyard area, the shipyard management and employees are responsible for work arrangements, machinery, and equipment. Subcontractors and other individuals working within the shipyard area must follow the given instructions and guidelines. Do not use damaged wires, cables, or electrical devices. They must be marked and moved for repair by an electrician. The shipyard electrician or other designated personnel is responsible for arranging the electrical connections for vessels. Any faulty equipment or observed problems must be reported to the supervisors. Helmets and safety shoes are mandatory in the shipyard area.. Safety goggles are mandatory at the shipyard basin and on the decks of the vessels. Continuous use of ear protection and safety goggles is recommended. Visitors must wear helmets and yellow visitor vests, and if necessary, ear protection, safety goggles, and safety shoes. Individuals coming to work at the shipyard must bring their own safety equipment. The hot work plan is available for viewing at the office and time recording points. You must ALWAYS have a hot work permit when working on a ship. There are (1) hot work supervisors at the repair dock and (2) at the project area. Determine the location of the hot work supervisor before starting hot work. Always check the area behind the bulkhead before starting hot work. Ask for permission from supervisors if you need to access areas undergoing surface treatment. Request approval before starting work in an area where surface treatment has been done. Use appropriate protective gear during painting and while moving around the area. Use proper lifting equipment and scaffolding. Ensure adequate ventilation in the work area. Those involved in docking must have life jackets and a radio communication device (at least one per work pair). Those with other duties should keep a safe distance from the docking equipment and the vessel being docked. Docking operations are led by the dockmaster or supervisor. A safety line and safety net must be attached, and a separate safety line for emergency exits should be prepared. Use approved, inspected, and intact lifting equipment and lifting appliances during lifting operations. Tank work is supervised by a designated supervisor. Use extreme caution during tank work. Always ventilate the opened tank and perform gas testing before starting tank work. Whenever someone is working inside the tank, at least one person must be positioned outside to act as a lookout (hatch watcher). The lookout must have the required equipment and tools as instructed for tank work. After completing the task, gather the tools and leftover materials. Clean the area and dispose of the waste in the appropriate containers. Return supplies to their designated storage places and tools to their proper locations. Before closing the workspace, double-check that all items and trash have been removed from the area. Sort waste materials into the correct bins! Everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves!! Metal, aluminum, cardboard, and general waste each have their separate bins or containers. If necessary, other waste categories are also sorted accordingly. Hazardous waste has its own designated area where such waste is placed for subsequent collection and treatment. For hazardous waste, ALWAYS label it with the project name, date, and a description of the substance for proper post-processing. OUR HOT WORK SUPERVISORS ARE TRAINED PROFESSIONALS IN THE RESCUE INDUSTRY. Estimated response time from the fire department is 10-30 minutes. There is a Volunteer Fire Brigade (VPK) operating in Teijo, located less than a kilometer away from the marina. The area has 24/7/365 security, including camera surveillance and access control. The area is monitored by a security company. Before entering the area, access permission must be obtained. EVERYONE receives a personal Millog Marine & Power identification number along with their access rights to the shipyard. The system provides an hour list for confirmation by the supervisors and to be attached to invoices. Recording hours in the tracking system is a prerequisite for smooth inspection and payment of invoices. Users can generate a printout of their time entries to obtain confirmation from the supervisors..
